Friendship Camp For Students Entering: Grades 2-4 Dates: July 9-12, 2012
Friendship Camp is for children who are ready to experience four days and three nights of fun filled adventure in a residential camp setting. This child-centered camp is designed fro the active learning style of young children. Activities will include arts and crafts, skits, games and entertainment. Other fun activities will include boating safety, a learn-to-swim program, fishing and crabbing. This camp will provide each child with opportunities to interact with other children under the guidance of a caring, trained staff.
Who Can Participate? The camp is open to any student entering grades 2 through 4. Because of the limited number of openings, applications will be treated on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Staff Heather Hatfield and Sean McGuinn, Arlington Echo Outdoor Educators will direct the camp. The staff consists of teachers, Junior Counselors and Counselors-in-Training who have experience in Outdoor and Environmental Education. Cost $350.00 includes meals, accommodations, activities and instructional materials. A $175.00 deposit must be sent with the application. The $175.00 remaining balance is due upon acceptance to the camp. The deposit is non-refundable if the student is accepted.
Application Procedures 1. Parents must complete the front of the Student Application Form. 2. A $175.00 deposit must be sent with the application form by May 25, 2012. 3.
