Early Birds
For Students Entering: Grades K-2

 & June 25-28, 2012
9 a.m. - 3 p.m.

If you are looking for a safe, nurturing camp that teaches young children to be good stewards of the natural environment, this camp is for you! Early Birds Camp is for students entering kindergarten through second grade and runs for two consecutive week long sessions. Campers may be registered for either or both sessions. The camp will allow the young and often first-time camper many opportunities to explore, investigate, and experience a variety of nature-based activities. Daily activities will include science, music, art, movement, and swim instruction centered around the outdoor environment. A well trained staff will guide each young camper in these enriching experiences. The camp will run from Monday to Friday, from 9am-3pm. Transportation is the responsiblity of the parent. Lunch will be provided each day.

Who Can Participate?
The camp is open to any student entering kindergarten through grade 2. Because of the limited number of openings applications will be treated on a first-come, first served basis.

Cost
The cost of the camp is $250 per week which includes lunch each day, dinner on Wednesday, and breakfast on Thursday, all materials of instruction, and swimming. A $150 deposit must be included with the application. The $100 remaining balance is due upon the acceptance of camp. The deposit is non-refundable if the student is accepted.  Make checks payable to Anne Arundel County Public Schools. Application Procedures
1. Parents must complete the Student Application Form.
2. A $150 deposit payment must be sent with the application form by May 25, 2012
3. The balance of the fee ($100) will be due upon acceptance to the camp.
